We are new at this and don’t want to spend any money on legal fees right now, so here’s the deal. Please keep it clean, especially when tagging Meridians to build their legacy. We may remove your posts and eventually close your account for obscenities.
You have to be 13 years or older to play. If you are under 18, you must have your parents permission. Besides, it’s best to let them know what is going on in your life, trust me, they’ll appreciate it.
When you make a trade for a Meridian, you are it’s caretaker. If we find out you are trying to resell Meridians, we’ll remove you from the community. If you hold on to a Meridian because you think the person who seeded it is famous, we may remove you from the site. We all want to play.
If you bought a Meridian and decide you do not want to play any more, you can return it within 30 days of your purchase. If you bought it from a retailer, you need to get with us to return it so we can unseed it. You can only return a Meridian that you seeded and has not been traded. If you have questions, just ask, we want to help.
If you lose a Meridian that was not originally seeded by you, please let us know. We’ll do everything we can to get it back in the game, no guarantees. If you find a Meridian, please let us know and we’ll help facilitate getting it back to it’s last caretaker. In either scenario, please contact us at support (at) worldconnect (dot) me.
We can’t guarantee the content on the site is accurate or non-offensive, but you have the choice of who you want to follow. If you try to intimidate anyone, we may close your account. If you post any content that is protected by copyright, we may remove it if asked.
We can’t guarantee the site will be up all the time (though we will do our best to keep it running). Also, we can’t guarantee that any links to other sites our risk free, so be careful of any links taking you outside of the worldconnect.me domain.
Our terms are subject to change without notice. If they do, and we let you know, please take the time to read them.
We will not share any personally identifiable information with anyone. As we continue to build out our site and future functionality, we may at some time share non-identifying data with third parties.
In order for the site to work, you have to include your hometown. That information will help to make the travels of each Meridian more interesting. In the future, we may build some functionality that will require more specific location information. For example, when checking in, you may want to see if any other community members are nearby. Of course, before we ever turn on a function like this, we will build out more privacy options and let you know ahead of time.
We ask that you respect other’s privacy within our community. Please do not go sharing information they post anywhere else, unless you have their permission. If they ask you to remove it, please do so.
Your digital life is generally stored forever, so be careful as to what you share.
Our privacy policy may change in the future, but we will always let you know when that happens. It is critical that you read any changes to it so you can decide what your options are….. DON’T GET LAZY ON THIS ONE.
